Delta Career Education Corporation (formerly Gryphon Colleges Corporation) was formed to build a leading company in the exciting post-secondary education arena through selective acquisitions and integration of attractive regional campus "pods." Its first acquisition occurred in December 2004 with the purchase of National Career Education, a cluster of four campuses operating in California and Arizona. The company's growth continued in 2006 with the acquisition of 16-campus Delta Educational Systems and 6-campus Academy of Court Reporting.
